After 'Chaal Mann Jeetva Jaiye', the sequel of the film 'Chaal Mann Jeetva Jaiye 2' has received huge applause from the cinephiles. The film is directed by Dipesh Shah and stars Krishna Bharadwaj, Dharmendra Gohil, Hemen Chauhan,
Rajeev Mehta, Sheetal Pandya, Karan Bhanushali, Ketkie Parekh, and others. The film which was screened on February 24 is running successfully in cinemas now.
To know more about the elated moment ETimes contacted Karan Bhanushali and here he revealed it exclusively.
Karan shares,"The response is quite overwhelming. Not just from Mumbai or Gujarat but from other states as well. My friend watched the movie in Chennai in an almost fully packed theatre. Audience is embracing the film as it is striking a chord with them, at a deeper level. People have already started asking us about developments for the third part.
Talking about the shooting experience, "We shot this film last year during peak summers. Along with our shoot, 'Fakt Mahilaao Maate', another film that I wrote, was also being shot in Ahmedabad. They started shooting after us and wrapped up before we did."
"We shot almost for 63 days but it felt like a breeze, thanks to the lovely cast and crew. We were like an extended family, who used to keep eating mangoes on camera and sugarcane juice off camera. The young brigade (Ketkie, Sheetal, Krishna, Hemen) - all of us were like children on set, enjoying our summer vacations."
"The credit for the success of the film goes to our director - Dipesh Shah sir. It is because of his meticulous design and staging, every frame of the film looks stunning. Every department has put in their hundred percent to make this film look the way it does."
He further added about his next venture, "I am in a very happy phase as this is my fourth release (as an actor & writer) in the last six months. All of them have met with great commercial success. Last week, I was surprised to see that all my three films were running simultaneously in theatres. I feel really blessed to be in this position."
"Currently, I am busy writing for a tv show. Since the last 7 months, there hasn't been a single day which didn't involve writing or ideating. I want to continue telling stories, be it as a writer or as an actor."
"Lastly, I would be waiting to get on screen again with my team of 'Chaal Mann' in part 3. Hopefully, this time, the audience won't have to wait for too long, the actor signed off the conversation."
