International Women's Day 2020: From Mitra Gadhvi to Aarjav Trivedi, Gujarati actors share words of praise for the important women in their lives

Today, we celebrate Women's Day where we acknowledge women for all their achievements and sacrifices that they make. While everyone tries to make the important women in their lives feel special in some way or the other, our Gujarati celebs also join the league. From Mitra Gadhvi to Aarjav Trivedi, here are some celebrities who have shared their beautiful thoughts and messages for the ones who matter the most to them.

'Affra Taffri' actor Mitra Gadhvi has made a mark for himself in the comedy genre of Gujarati cinema by giving stellar performances ever since his debut film 'Chhello Divas' until now. The actor shared that his role model in life is his mom. Mitra says, "For her, everything has always been about my happiness. Whenever I stress too much I have a habit to stay up all night and she always makes sure that she talks to me and doesn’t sleep, even if I insist on her. We have traveled a lot and have amazing memories of it together. She’s not a huge movie fan but can watch my films on loop and she loves attending premieres."

Gaurav Paswala was last seen in Naitik Raval's one-shot feature film '47 Dhansukh Bhavan'. And now the actor is busy with his untitled upcoming film which is helmed by Chandresh Bhatt. Talking about Women’s Day, the actor says, "It all started with a dream... The only person who stood by me, believed in my dreams and supported me financially and emotionally in difficult times. And that is my mother. My journey seems incomplete and impossible without her."

Mayur Chauhan who has been busy these days with his upcoming film 'Taagad Dhina' opposite Bhakti Kubavat has shared his emotional journey since childhood till now. The actor says, "For me, my grandmother plays a vital role as my mother passed away when I was just a year old. My granny is my idol who has always looked out for my happiness untill now and my granny is my mother, a woman who has secured my life with lots of love. (Maa te Maa Bija Vagda Na Vaa)."

Superstar Malhar Thakar has gone through many hurdles in life and today on the occasion of Women's Day, he would like to give the entire credit to his special women by saying, "The most important woman in my life is Darshini Shah.
