Recently, Malhar Thakar took a break from

social media

following an

unpleasant incident

where he was trolled for posting a poem that he wrote himself. Following this he shared another post venting out his emotions and asked his trolls to stop posting

hateful comments

. While this is not the first time the actor has been trolled, Malhar feels that things went “too far,” this time and that this incident has left him “hurt.” As we spoke to the actor, he opened up about how he enjoys memes made on him and doesn’t mind getting trolled occasionally, but he won’t tolerate cyber bullying.

‘I CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHY THERE WERE VICIOUS COMMENTS ABOUT A POEM I POSTED’
I don’t understand why people reacted like this, to the poem I posted. Assuming people might have misinterpreted it, I even explained what the poem implied on my social media handle! But the hate comments just wouldn’t stop and people continued getting nasty. I feel it was a deliberate attempt to malign me by some people who probably don’t like me. I have been trolled earlier as well, but it has never been this vicious. I felt I was being bullied and harassed.
‘AM UPSET WITH THIS KIND OF CYBER BULLYING’
I am a fun-loving person and I love all the memes that are made on me. But I can’t handle bullying. I felt very upset after the entire episode, but I am trying to get over it.

‘I CAN’T HANDLE TOXIC NEGATIVITY’
As a public figure, I am open to constructive criticism, but I can’t handle any toxic negativity. I want to tell all those who get pleasure out of maligning celebs, to grow up and get a life.
