The bond siblings share is unique. From being each other’s biggest critiques to being their strengths, siblings are gifts we must all cherish. And that’s the kind of bond filmmaker
Mikhil Musale shares with his elder sister
Shraddha Musale. Talking about it, Mikhil says, “We are very different when it comes to having an opinion about something and we end up fighting over the simplest of discussions, but I know that no matter how much we fight, Shraddha will be there for me.
Over the years, we have grown closer, have become more understanding and supportive of each other. Our bond had grown from being just that of brother-sister to that of trust, warmth, emotional dependence and a lot more. Since Shraddha is also in the entertainment industry, she understands me a lot better. So, I always show the first cut of my scripts to her because I know she will give me an honest opinion. Sometimes she gets too critical, but I know that she only wants the best for me.”
Mikhil, who has been in Ahmedabad during the lockdown, happened to go to Mumbai for work that coincided with Raksha Bandhan, and he is happy that he will be able to spend the day with Shraddha. “I had been planning to go to Mumbai for some time now for work, but it was just not working out. But when it did, it coincided with
Raksha Bandhan and I am glad that I will be with Shraddha on this day.”
