I am excited about the journey ahead as a father: Rahul Bhole

Rahul Bhole, who has co-directed D-Town projects like Bachubhai, Vickida No Varghodo and Reva: A Journey Within, among others, and his wife Vishwa were blessed with a baby boy on Friday morning. He took to social media later and expressed his happiness. The National Award-winning filmmaker shares, “This feels like a triple celebration, as it was also Holi and my latest film also released on Friday. The film has opened to good audience reviews and so, it seems my little boy is a lucky charm for us! I became a father in the morning and in the afternoon, I was told that our latest film (co-directed by Vinit Kanojia) was doing well in theatres. So, it feels very special.”

He adds, “The entire journey over the last nine months has been full of ups and downs. During Navratri last year, I was a bit nervous as Vishwa had to undergo a few critical tests and she had to be very careful about her health. I was a bit scared then but now, I am super excited about the journey ahead as a father. I feel blessed and it’s a very positive feeling which I can’t describe in words. We still haven’t thought of a name for our little boy. I just want to enjoy the moment and spend time with my family. I plan to go on paternity leave for two-three months. I have planned things in such a way that no new project is going on the floors before June.”
