I am confident about the Gujarati remake of Ventilator: Manan Desai

Popular stand-up comedian and actor Manan Desai, who will be seen playing an important role in the Gujarati remake of the National Award-winning Marathi film Ventilator, says that he is confident about the film. Manan shares, “I play someone who is older than me, which has its own share of challenges. But shooting for the film has been really exciting so far. I am learning a lot from the veteran actors, especially Jackie Shroff.We have an amazing cast and although the expectations will be high (the Marathi film had won three National Awards), I am confident that it will turn out to be a good film.”
Manan adds, “As a director, Umang Vyas allows you to improvise but also gives you honest feedback. At times, they needed a few retakes for my scenes but the entire team was pretty chilled out about it. This is an excellent phase for the Gujarati film industry because we are getting to see some great content.”
