Cannes opens up to Amdavadi flavours

It���s not very often that a film made in the nostalgic and mesmerizing lanes and landscapes of Ahmedabad gets a world premiere at one the Mecca of world movie screenings ��� Cannes. But pushing every limit, ���Beyond Blue��� a Hindi movie which was shot entirely in Ahmedabad will be having its World Premi��red at68th Festival de Cannes, Marche du Film 2015. Speaking about the movie at the press conference director Zanane Rajsingh said, ���Ahmedabad as a city is extremely close to my heart and I couldn���t have thought of filming the movie in any other city but Ahmedabad. The movie is about a young professional but he has a dark side and a demented mind that forms the story. Ahmedabad being well-known for its food, the story too has a very special connection with food. The movie is a psychological thriller and how certain situation goes awry in a matter of just few hours forms the crux of the movie. The film also stars Tushar Pandey, Isheta Sarckar, Dipti Joshi and Vikas Rathod in pivotal roles.���
