The number of cases is steadily rising amid the ongoing Coronavirus new variant Omicron outbreak. COVID-19 positivity was found in a large number of people in the entertainment sector. Here we have compiled the Gujarati actors who contracted to COVID-19 this month.

In the start of the new year, 'Jessu Jordar' fame posted on his Instagram account that he was infected with a deadly virus. The actor revealed in an ETimes interview that he celebrated his new year being quarantined and took a shot of cough syrup with his wife. Now that he's recovered, the actor is eager to get back to work.

One of the known comedian stars of Gujarati cinema Hemang Dave took to his Instagram story and informed his friends that he has been tested positive for Covid-19. Dave wrote, "I have tested corona positive, please take care who met me in the last 2 ya 3 days, there are no such symptoms but it is highly contagious please take care guys."

Mitra Gadhvi too tested positive for the deadly virus and shared his picture on the Instagram handle along with a note, "Hello, I have tested positive for Covid-19 on the 1st of January. It's day 5 today. New year- new challenges, I guess. I had fever, backache, sore throat and I don't think it was light/mild so please don't assume anything is what I would like to say, but now I'm feeling ok and I'm isolated as well. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals. Stay safe everyone! Mask up please."

The actress who was running with a busy schedule for her recently wrapped film 'Lakiro' also tested positive for Covid-19. Taking to her Instagram story, Deeksha wrote, "In 2022, I should", so it suggested, "Exercise Daily." "But I am Covid positive right now, and the doctor has instructed me not to exert!!! kya yaar!"

'21mu Tiffin' fame Niilam one of the bubbly actresses divulges about her health and took the video post on her Instagram handle. As seen in the post, actress Helen is dancing to the popular song 'Piya Tu Ab To Aaja' to which Niilam mentioned, "Finally jab corona Niilam se mila tab, I'm Covid Positive."
