Gujarati films have more avenues to earn money now: Aditya Lakhia

Popular actor Aditya Lakhia, whose portrayal of Kachra in is talked about even today, has high hopes from his upcoming Gujarati film , which he has produced too. And Lakhia believes that these are good times for Gujarati cinema. In Vadodara for an event, he told us, “The success of recent Gujarati films like is a very encouraging sign for filmmakers, as it shows that the audience is appreciating good content in regional cinema.I am glad to see that people are now ready to invest more money in Gujarati films. Also, festivals like the IGFF (International Gujarati Film Festival) are playing a big role in promoting Gujarati cinema. Unlike earlier, when our films had to solely depend on the box-office collection, now we have movies being shown on regional channels as well as digital platforms. Films now have more avenues to earn money and that makes a big difference.”
