Also, festivals like the IGFF (International Gujarati Film Festival) are playing a big role in promoting Gujarati cinema. Unlike earlier, when our films had to solely depend on the box-office collection, now we have movies being shown on regional channels as well as digital platforms. Films now have more avenues to earn money and that makes a big difference.”
