Today, we celebrate Chaitra
Navratri, a festival of nine days which is celebrated across the nation with great enthusiasm, but due to the
Coronavirus pandemic, there will be no scope for people to come together and enjoy. On this day, Dhollywood actress
Khushi Shah shared her throwback picture from the time when she visited the Vaishnodevi temple along with her husband to seek the blessing of the Goddess. Here's what Khushi Shah shared exclusively with ETimes about Chaitra Navratri.
Wishing everyone a Happy Chaitra Navratri, the 'Affra Taffri'
actress
said, “I request to all, this time in Navratri, please stay in the house and worship
Mata Rani
. Don't worry too much about fruit, flowers, etc. And please do not conduct any Kirtan and Satsang at home.”
She further added, “Mata Rani is a lover of sentiment, not objects. To fight an epidemic like Corona, this time in Navratri, we will have to worship Mata Rani at home in isolation for the safety of ourselves, our family and others. Let us keep doing Social Distancing and all the necessary precautions while at home. Even Mata Rani will appreciate the love you show for others by following social distancing. I am praying for everyone this Navratri. Stay home and be safe."
