Dushyant Pratap Singh set to mark Gujarati debut with 'Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba'

Dushyant Pratap Singh, a well-known filmmaker, is set to make his Gujarati cinema debut with his directorial venture Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba. The film is expected to add further momentum to the growing Gujarati film industry.

According to NDTV reports, Dushyant shared that the project marks his first Gujarati-language film and expressed excitement about the opportunity. He noted that Gujarati cinema is steadily gaining strength, with films today attracting audiences not only across India but also in the UAE, Thailand, other Asian countries, Europe, and especially the United States.

Announcement and cast reveal

The makers of Bach Ke Rehna Re Baba are planning to make an official announcement in the first week of January, during which the star cast will also be revealed. Reports suggest that the team is in talks with several prominent actors to enhance the film’s appeal, with a formal update expected soon.

Director’s notable works

The film will feature a blend of experienced actors and fresh talent from cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara, and will be shot entirely in Ahmedabad. Dushyant Pratap Singh is known for his acclaimed works including The Hundred Bucks, Trahimam, and Zindagi Shatranj Hai. He has also received recognition at national and international film festivals and is the author of the well-regarded book Satyaki: The Invincible Warrior of Dwapar.
