Dhollywood gears up with six movie releases in August

Shravan is one month wherein Gujarati films make a beeline at the theatres across Gujarat. The season is considered auspicious for Gujarati movies because of the festival of Janmashtami which sees lot of spending from movie goers. This year, since the Independence Day weekend gets extended followed by Janmashtami holiday, there is more buzz in the industry regarding the films lined up.
While the month of shravan usually attracts more movie lovers to the big screen, there is always competition among which films will hit the screens during the month. So, in the pipeline are almost six to seven films Prem Rog, Ghar Maru Mandir, Dholida, Odhani, Bajrang Leela, Aa Toh Prem Chhe, Vav et el.
While simultaneously, all the films will also be pitted against Bollywood movies lined up in the month, industry sources say, not all of the movies will be lucky to get a shravan screening.
In addition, some of the films are yet to receive the tax free and censor certificates. So, that too makes it interesting to see which movie gets really lucky.
