Rehan Chaudhary's Instagram story where the actor announced about venturing into writing for his next. "Something New, Exciting. Acting & Writing Project," he captioned. This particular post has made Deep's Instafam excited as the actor has turned into a writer for Gujarati cinema. ETimes contacted the actor Deep to know how he landed up writing a script for a Gujarati project.
Deep shares what inspired him to be an actor and a writer, "I read the story of Sylvester Stallone and his journey with Rocky.
How he wanted to be an actor and he wrote the script of Rocky. That was my first inspiration to write so that I get to act. It started with one idea and then I started assisting writers in my free time. I had that talent of building a character while acting so that helped me to write with more clarity and gradually I started developing my stories into a screenplay."tuf
"This year when we were preparing to release 'Dhuandhaar' I narrated a script to Rehan Chaudhary. He loved it and it was one such script that I kept for myself to act. I discussed it with Rehan sir and he immediately agreed upon it as he had already worked with me in 'Dhuandhaar' and he was absolutely aware of my skill. So he planned and we shot it," Deep adds.
The film stars Kinjal Rajpriya, Chetan Dahiya, Shyam Nair, and Maitry Joshi apart from Deep Dholakia
"Now debuting in my home turf with a Gujarati script feels amazing. Probably the best feeling in the world," excited Deep sums up the conversation.
