aka Jigrra was seen supporting the campaign. When asked about the experience of cleaning the river, he shares, “It was an eye-opener! I joined our mayor and together, we tried cleaning the garbage of the river. In our culture, rivers are respected and addressed as our mother and Sabarmati ki aisi halat dekh ke I was really disappointed and disheartened!” He adds, “We throw idols, garlands, plastic bags and so many other things in the river! It was actually stinking. I only want to request everyone to not throw any kind of garbage and pollute the rivers.”
