Debutant director Kirtan Patel talks about his inspiration

Bas Ek Chance is one film that is grabbing a lot of eyeballs. From a unique storyline to a fresh cast and contemporary music, everything about the film is creating a buzz among Gujarati audiences.
Kirtan Patel, director of Bas Ek Chance, talks about how he conceptualised the film and says, ���I was studying filmmaking in Pune and then moved to Mumbai.I saw that hundreds of people came to Mumbai every day to work in different fields of entertainment but hardly a handful of them met with success. This is where the idea of this movie started. I made a few ad films in the meantime. When I sawKevi Rite Jaish, I felt that Gujarati audiences are ready for a conventional film and if made well, they will certainly come and watch it. I started with this project in 2012 and wrote 24 drafts before finalising the script.���
