Alpana Buch on Mother's Day: A child is a reflection of a mother

Alpana Buch has convincingly essayed the role of a

mother

in several Gujarati films. On the occasion of Mother's Day, ETimes got in touch with the popular actress to know her journey from being a reel mother to a real life mom! Alpana shares, "Once a mother is always a mother, I feel blessed that I have played a parent to many kids onscreen."


Ask Alpana to pick her favourite onscreen kid and the actress adds, "Yukti Kapoor, Shiny Doshi, Swapnil Joshi, Malhar Thakar and Pratik Gandhi have made me feel special as a mom. Thanks to them I am a star mom but in real life, I have a beautiful daughter Bhavya whom I always remember on set and performing emotional scenes becomes easy for me."

Speaking about motherhood and advising kids, the actress adds, "I believe that mothers cannot don't advise their children. The dictionary meaning of advice is "To tell somebody what you think he/she should do". But when it comes to a mother and a child's relationship, they are not different entities. A child is a reflection of a mother. So, rather than advising my child I will do everything to create a reflection of a perfect human in my child."
