friends

difficult, but it has also made us realise their importance in our lives. Video calls and phone calls have brought us all closer to our friends now. Actress Bhakti Kubavat shares, “It has been five months since I met my friends and that makes me incredibly sad. I understand the need to stay home and to stay safe, but I miss my friends a lot. Video calls and phone calls have come to the rescue. I would regularly speak to my friends on calls. We have been continuously in touch virtually. I miss meeting them I person so much. I have realised what my friends mean to me. I realise now that a large part of friendship requires understanding and staying with them through thick and thin.” Bhakti goes on to add that she won’t be able to meet her friends from a distance. “I realise that

social distancing

won’t be possible when I see my friends, I would want to hug them because I missed them so much. But, I controlled myself and we met once at my terrace and we sat away from each other and maintained all the safety norms.”
