Story: Two young friends (played by Helly Shah and Jahnvi Chauhan) loot a businessman and decide to leave the country. But they meet a stranger (Vatsal Sheth), who turns out to be the latter’s school friend. They give him a lift on the way to Goa and it starts a tale with many twists.
Review: Vatsal and Helly shine in their debut Gujarati film, bringing their experience and expertise to the industry. Vatsal has played many characters throughout the film flawlessly. Helly’s girl-next-door avatar connects with the audience. Jahnvi delivers a power-packed performance, while Chirag Bhatt’s performance as Charlie is commendable.
After directing films like BaagadBillaa and Locha Laapsi, Sachin Brahmbhatt is back with another thriller. This time, he has done a great job. The film has an excellent background score and the title track by Ash King is a great precursor to the heist. Sachin co-wrote the film with Maulin Parmar.
The film builds well on the premise of a heist and should be applauded for its pace. Despite plenty of surprises and twists throughout the film, certain sequences feel rushed, and the film lacks good editing. However, the film is a welcome change from the current set of films in the industry and should be watched for its edge-of-the-seat thrill.
The entire team deserves recognition for their efforts in bringing a less explored genre to the screens.
