It will be heartening to see Gujarati films doing well

Vadodara boy Manav Gohil, who played the lead role in the Gujarati film Saptapadi sometime back, wants Gujarati films to do well. Says Manav, “It will be really heartening to see more Gujarati films doing well. I have always wondered why Gujarati films haven’t done as well as the regional films in some other languages. We are rich not just in terms of money, but also have a rich culture and literature for inspiration! Also, we are very close to Mumbai, where so many talented artists from the state pursue their careers.”
