Actress-singer duo record a cover song

City-based actress Netri Trivedi and singer Riya Shah are working on a cover for the song We ask the duo how they came up with this idea. "It started out as a small, fun thing to do. In the process we thought, why not do this seriously? We don’t see too many covers versions happening in the city,” says Netri, who we saw as Isha in Chhello Divas and is now starring in another Gujarati film Armaan which is slated for release early next year.
Netri says she is not a professional singer but help from Riya and sufficient rehearsals helped her do a good job. When it came to the video, they did not want it to be conventional. Since it is an old song, which we more recently heard in Dear Zindagi, they decided to give it an old school feel and wove a story into it. The duo says that the story will strike a chord with everyone. The director and cinematographer of this video is Abhishek Pandey.
