Senior members rock at a Varanasi club's event

To showcase the talent of their senior members, the

Benaras Club

recently organised an evening with the theme 'Old Is Gold' After the formal inauguration, the performances started rolling. A qawaalli dance by Anita Shah, Abha Singh, Priya Singh and Supriya Jhariya on Aye Meri Zohara Jabi had everyone clapping along.

Displaying their crooning skills, Radha Vijavat, Rahul Chandra, VK Das, Alka Mathur rendered songs like Chhoo Kar Mere Man Ko while Dr Anita and Dr Vyomesh presented a

sitar

recital. Dr Sunita Shah played a mouth organ. The highlight of the evening turned out to be a fashion show in which Poornima Singh, Ankita Singh, Rekha Rastogi, Kaushaliya Jyoti, Savita Maheshwari, Sushma Kalra, Alka Poddar, among others participated.
