Ganga Dusshera celeberations at Assi Ghat in Varanasi

Special aarti and cultural events marked the Ganga Dusshera celebrations held at Assi Ghat on Thursday.
The cultural event started with a vocal recital by Aditi Srivastava. A disciple of famed vocalist, Girija Devi, Aditi began with a composition in Raag Mala and went on to sing a bhajan. She concluded her performance with a Dadra, which is a favourite of her guru.This was followed by a kathak performance by Gaurav and Saurabh . Dedicating their performance to River Ganga, they ended their kathak recital with a stuti of Lord Shiva.
