City college hosts fresher's party 'Prarambh' in Varanasi

Prarambh, a fresher’s party at a college in the city was a perfect showcase of talent as the youngsters gave some splendid performances. The transition from school to college, was the theme of the event and all the performances were weaved around it.
Dramatic adaptation of self-composed poetry by Aparna Chaturvedi, Jyoti Patel, Aishwarya Middha and Shristi Rani was well appreciated.Soumya Singh, Ponopma Singh, Aishwarya Gupta, Anjali Chauhan, Saumya Jaiswal, Surabhi Tewari, who danced on songs like Pataka Guddi, Nach Meri Jaan and Shaam Gulabi, depicted the fun that comes with this change.
Maximum applause however was reserved for an all-girls’ rock band. The youngsters played a medley of songs like Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi Ho, Dhunki Dhunki and Justin Bieber’s Baby. The anchors, Darshana Shastri, Shraddha Gupta, Palak Gupta gave some tongue-in-cheek tips to enjoy college life.
The most awaited moment was however the announcement of the Miss Fresher title which was conferred on Shivani Vishwakarma, while the Miss Eve Title was given to Masheera.
