Banarasi ladies enjoyed a Rajasthani theme party

Going by the festive season, a ladies club recently organised a bash with Rajasthan as the theme. The guests walked in to a vibrantly decorated venue with ample use made of chunari prints. The ladies came dressed in all their ethnic finery with the nose ring being an important part of the accessory.
The event began with Sheetal Singh, Meena Singh and Ruby Singh welcoming the guests. Later, they handed over the mike to Priya, Supriya and Preeti, who were the conveners of the event.

Some delightful performances kept the guests engaged. A

musical

skit dedicated to women empowerment, tracing her journey from the ancient times to the present, was well-applauded.

A group dance by Seema, Prachi, Sweksha and Dr Shweta was dedicated to late actress Sridevi. They danced on a medley of her popular songs 'Kate Nahi Katate Yeh Din Yeh Raat', 'Mere Haathon Mein Naon Naon Chudiya Hain', etc. Adding a dash of humour was a performance on a Bhojpuri song 'Sasu Paniya Kaise Bhare Jaaun' by Sangeeta and
