A bash for women, by women organised in Banaras

Dedicated to the empowerment of women, a bash was recently hosted by a ladies club in the city. Spreading the message of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, the do was marked by several dance performances. Anita Gupta presented a dance number on the song Tu Hi Tu, Mamata Bhi Tu Shamta Bhi Tu defining what a woman stands for.

The highlight of the evening turned out to be the depiction of a daring woman, right from the ancient to the present times. Women like Jhansi Ki Rani, Padmavati among others were enacted in which members like Jyoti Shah, Shobha Kapoor and Geeta Khanna participated.
