Strengthening marginalised communities

Ek Pahal Aur- a civil society working towards empowering the women in the Raipur circle, has constituted Kanyadan Seva Group at Pujya Sindhi Panchayat, Katora Talab on June 2 for the noble cause of mass marriage that will benefit the couples belonging to less privileged and marginalised communities in the society.
The members of the group deliberated over a number of subjects that included dowry abolition, financial support for the marriage, promoting low cost wedding, mass mobilisation for the initiative and conducting all the wedding ceremonies for the couples in the mass marriage.
The prominent guests who graced the gathering were to the likes of Rajesh Wadhwani, Pahlaj Khemani, Shakuntala Lakhwani, Sapna Kukreja, Rashmi Mirani, Annu Tondon, Sonia Nanjyani, Tanuja Lakhwani, Kavita Chawala, Monika Jaisingh, Sunita Bajaj, Lakshmi Ramani, Sunita Sadhwani, Sangita Balani, Vishakha Gurrani and Payal Nagrani.
