Mahadev Ghat and Vyas Talab witnesses Chhath Puja

Chhath Puja was celebrated across the capital city of

Raipur

with pomp and gaiety.

Devotees

from across the city observed the puja by paying their respects to the Sun God on the banks of lake, pond and makeshift pools. Devotees in the capital city offered arghya to the rising sun in more than 55 places. Women dressed in colourful sarees offered the puja in

Mahadev Ghat

and Vyas Talab among other places.
