Puneites soak in devotional music

Pune gathered to show their respect and honour for

Dr. Sunil Kale

at music event-Swarvarsha conducted on the evening of 7th October at

Ganesh Kala Krida

in Swargate. The show marked the fifth year of the event which sees classical musicians come together to perform devotional songs composed by the doctor who also takes on the role of a spiritual guru, motivational speaker and philosopher.

Swarvarsha

is an event where devotional songs composed by Dr. Sunil Kale are performed by renowned musicians on his birthday. The songs are chosen from among over thousand songs composed by him.

This year saw a touch of Marathi cinema as Mandar Devasthali, producer and Samidha Guru, actress, took up the role of anchors and hosted a successful show which saw performances by artists such as Rahul Deshpande, Raghunandan Panshikar, Shounak Abhisheki, Mohan Darekar, Hemant Pendse, Manjushatai Patil and Arti Kundalkar among others.
