Pune laughs along to the play 'Shantech Kart Chalu Ahe'

Shantech Kart Chalu Ahe

at city's Balgandharva Rang Mandir on 8th November.

The play was written by

Shrinivas Bhandge

and was directed by Saurabh Pradhan. Shantech Kart Chalu Ahe saw actors Priyadarshan Jadhav, Vishakha Subhedar,

Sunil Tawde

, Mayura Palande and Bhalchandra Kadam. The

Marathi play

showed the story of a father and son set up a plan to change their mother's irritating behavior by making up an imaginary woman who is in love with and sends letters to their father. However, the same woman enters their house on a day which is where the fun began on stage.

People were seen laughing at the comic timings and the jokes narrated. It was a lighthearted show which left everybody in fits of laughter.
