Mumbai based folk fusion band, Neeraj Arya’s
Kabir Cafe
recently performed at a cafe in Koregaon Park. This five piece soulful music band comprising ofNeeraj Arya
on lead vocals and rhythm guitar,Raman Iyer
on mandolin, Mukund Ramaswamy on violin, Viren Solanki on percussions, and Poubuanpou Britto KC on bass guitar.This unique band enthralled the Pune audiences with their songs having verses by Kabir, the mystic saint and poet. Their sounds has a touch of reggae, pop, rock, apart from folk fusion and also flavours of carnatic music. The crowd was seen singing along with the band when they sang their Bollywood songs like '
Fakiri
' and 'Hoshiyar Rehna
