Nacho, toh dil khol ke! … feel the students at this college

It was a hot October afternoon, but that did not dampen the spirit of students who came to the DY Patil Arts Commerce and Science (ACS) college for the Livon Times Fresh Face auditions. Soon after the show began, other students joined in to cheer for their friends.

As the performers took the stage, the judges soon realised there is no dearth of talent in the college. Joining the students were also their counterparts from the DY Patil Medical college and D Y Patil College of Ayurveda.

From dancing to peppy Bollywood numbers to singing classics, the participants carried themselves with a great panache on the stage. Rutuj Mali, who won among the boys, delivered a monologue from the movie Haider, while Urvashi Kaur Agarwal, the female winner, sang My heart will go on followed by Afreen Afreen. Not just the winners, but all the participants impressed actress Ashwini Kulkarni, who was the celeb judge for the day.

“It’s good to see students getting such a platform to present their talent. From actors, dancers, singers to body builders, this college had all sorts of talented youngsters and I really enjoyed being here,” she said.
