Melange, a techno cultural fest organised by Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), was a perfect mix of talent and entertainment. The festival in its fourth year, had an array of events organised including sports, techno, music and dance.
The highlight of this five day festival was the rocking performance of singer Mohit Chauhan. The singer enthralled everyone with his soul-stirring voice and made sure everyone was up on their feet dancing.He sang some of his popular hits and had everyone sing along with him.
Elated with the response the fest received, Bharat Agarwal, managing trustee of VIT, said, “Vishwakarma Institutes always focus on 360 degree development of the students, hence encouragement for organising such programmes helps them hone their extracurricular skills.”
He further said that, “We are grateful to Mohit Chauhan. He is a symbol of the youth today and a perfect motivator for our students on the occasion of Melange.”
The fest saw students participate in fun events such as Footloose, Creative writing, Marathi elocution and tech events like Aqua Racer, Robowar among others. This year the students also got a chance to present their skills at the ‘Student’s Got Talent’ event. The fest also had workshops organised that saw maximum students participate with enthusiasm. The fest saw over 400 colleges and 20,000 students participate.
