PUNE: The
India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted light to moderate rainfall with more cloud cover on September 25, 26 and 27 in the city and the district.
"Some weather system is likely to form over Bay of Bengal which will bring more moisture over Madhya
Maharashtra. The city will get light to moderate rainfall on these days," Anupam Kashyapi, head of weather, IMD Pune told TOI.
In the last two days, there is a fluctuation in day and night temperatures. "Till September 23, we are expecting 30 degrees celsius and above day temperature while night temperature will hover between 21 and 24 degrees celsius because of the reduction in cloud cover," Kashyapi added.
The city's day temperature on Sunday was 31.3 degrees celsius while the night temperature was 20.5 degrees celsius. The maximum and minimum temperatures at Lohegaon was 31.8 and 21 degrees celsius, respectively.
