'Kathakonmesh' dance composition organised by Kalanubhuti organization received great response from city's art lovers. The unique dance composition had some beautiful performances that impressed the audience and the auditorium was filled with applauses.
'Chakravyuh-Bhavanchi Ranneeti' a dance presentation that was part of this classical dance composition received good response from the audience. There were many moments where the crowd stood up to give standing ovation to the dancers performing on stage.
This event was held at Yashwantrao Chavan Theatre, Kothrud. The dance performance of Asmita Thakur's Kalanubhuti Sanstha was enthusiastically presented in this event. Last 15 years Kalanubhuti Center of Kathak is an organization working in the field of Kathak dance in Pune.
In the first half of the annual program 'Kathakonmesh', traditional compositions like Ganesha Vandana, Talachaturang, Abhang, Tarana in Yaman raga, Malhar, Kavittmala were performed. In the second half of the program, a new unique dance performance 'Chakravyuh- Bhavanchi Ranniti' was presented by the organization 'Kalanubhuti'. The stories of women who are emotionally trapped in different relationships related to women i.e. sister, wife, mother-son, etc. have been effectively portrayed through Kathak dance with mythological references. Many famous artists from Pune attended this event.
