Kathak and flute performance held at Kala Chhaya

The students music and dance came together to celebrate the dance form at Kala Chhaya campus. The group dispalyed subtle movements of

kathak

, interweaved into a beautiful

flute

piece choreography; as their own parlance of dance.

The kathak performance included the dancers from We Dance Ourselves-Rupayatan group and the Sparsha Sanvedan was given by Dr

Madhuri Apte

. The audience were mesmerised by the flute and a performance that was an amalgam of various styles and expressions of dance. After this there was interaction session with the artists where the audience asked questions on the mudras of kathak and syncing the movements with the

melody

of flute.
