The dance program 'Lakshya' organised under the cultural outreach program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation received a fantastic response from the fans. The program was held at Sardar Mahadev Balwant Natu Auditorium near Senapati Bapat Road of 'Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan'. This program of classical dance performance was presented by the Classical Dance Conservation Society. This dance event was part of a series of events in 'Pune Dance Season-2023' that took place recently city. In it, Bharatnatyam dancer Dr Sasikala Ravi, Sukanya Kulkarni, and Kathak dancer Neelima Hirve gave beautiful dance performances and enthralled the audience. First, Sukanya Kulkarni performed the Toda Nagalam dance rendition, followed by a bhajan by Surdas.

Neelima Hirve started the presentation with 'Mahadev Shivashambho'. After that Prahalad Katha, Lingodbhava Shiva were felicitated at the event. All these compositions got good response and the audience really appreciated the performance. Dr Sasikala Ravi presented compositions by Thyagarajan, Muthuswami Dixit. He concluded by eulogizing Ardhanarinteshwar. The audience was overwhelmed by these three performances.

Honorary Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Prof. Nand Kumar Kakirde, Suchitra Date, Meghna Sabade felicitated the artists. Many dignitaries including dance guru Shama Bhate were present. Nripa Soman gave vote of thanks. The program was free. This was the 162nd program presented under the cultural outreach program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation.
