Art2day held an interesting exhibition called 'City Tales'

'City Tales' - a group exhibition of photographs and paintings by Designer Darpana Athale, Computer Game Creator Harshad Arole, Graphic Designers Gauri Damle and Vidyut Kulkarni is an interesting collection of various aspects of a city. All of them are based out of Pune. The exhibition is planned was inaugurated by painter/muralist Sujata Dharap, architect and Urban sketchers Pune founder Sanjeev Joshi and well-known watercolourist Milind Mulick.
The exhibition focuses on labyrinths of the mind, like long winding roads of the city, have a variety of thoughts- some colourful, some black and white and many in grey. In between these thoughts are spaces where we breathe, take a break and observe the world around us. Much like sipping tea at a chai tapriand seeing the world pass by on a peak traffic day- the calm through the chaos. This exhibition is a journey of four travellers who have travelled through many cities and will be sharing nuances of what they think connects them to a city.
