Annual Festival of Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan held at Sawai Gandharv
On the evening of January 21, NBBSS, celebrated its annual festival of Pune Chapter.
The evening was started by two eminent classical vocal singers Dr. Kaberi Kar, a Dhrupad expert with being an academician and Dr.
Sandhya Kathavate took off the evening with kheyal bandish and thereafter she presented two thumris. She was accompanied by Sri Chaitanya Kunte in harmonium and Sri Mahesh Salunke.
The audiences enjoyed the performances and music enthusiasts from the city were spotted here in great numbers. NBBSS also publishes a Bengali literary magazine named ‘Pune Bangadarpan’ which were also distributed amongst the spectators.

, a 95 year old organisation from Benaras. The organisation was formed in the city of Benaras, in the year 1923 by Rabindranath Tagore. This has now various branches all across the country.
