Pune expats enjoy an epic feast this Thanksgiving

After spending upto 11 years in the United States, co-founders of

Everything Expats India

, brought the tradition of

Thanksgiving

to Loveena’s hometown Pune on Sunday.

The holiday, where people sit down for dinner and give thanks, was celebrated by 300 people at Loveena’s home.

While the kids enjoyed the bouncy castle at the event, the adults snapped fun photos with props such as cool hats and masks.

The highlight of the evening was the dinner, of course. The guests feasted on delicacies such as sweet potato casserole,

pumpkin pie

and turkey with gravy.

Loveena shares, “I have spent time in many countries around the world through a group called ‘

Up With People

’. It is also where I met my husband, and since we are now in my hometown, I wanted to give back. We had many guests from around the globe, many of whom were celebrating the holiday for the first time. I wanted to invite other such families or individuals who do not have their extended family in the city to get together and have a good time.”
