Meghna Sabade's dance program 'Saksham' won the hearts of the audience as they performed at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, recently. The event came under the cultural outreach program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation. At the event, students of Nrityanjali Academy performed Durgastuti, Mahadev in Bharatanatyam. Pupils of Prakvrani Kathak Dance Institute won the hearts of the audience by performing Siva Dhrupad, Aamd, Tode Paran, and Chatarang in a group dance. Sudiksha Anantharman performed Bharatanatyam.
Moderated by Ashwini Bhave. The program was held at Sardar Mahadev Balwant Natu Auditorium, (Senapati Bapat Road) of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The program was free of charge. It was the 127th program presented under the cultural outreach program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation.
Prof. Nand Kumar Kakirde, Honorary Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, introduced. Dr. Swati Datar and Meghna Sabade felicitated Prof. Nandkumar Kakirde. On behalf of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation, the participating artists were felicitated with a copy of Dnyaneshwari and a certificate of appreciation. The program 'Saksham' was organised by Meghna Sabade with the aim of providing a stage to the artists.
