A tale of a peasant of El Salvador
Raah- A Litearacy & Cultural Centre in Lullanagar recently hosted a
play
calledA Peasant of El Salvador
, which is a play by Peter Gould and Stephen Stearns. It is a play which is riveting, funny and a tragic tale of a farmer amidst the backdrop of the civil unrest in El Salvador. The play was expertly produced by QTP, the threesome cast of Meher Acharia-Dar. What made the presentation superb was the constant interaction with audience which allowed them to participate in the tale. This also lead to a lot of movement from the cast which added zeal to the presentation. The play transported the audience to another time and another country where the corn is sweet but life bitter.
