was organised at the Poona Western Club on Saturday. The programme started at 5.30 pm and was divided into three sessions which included eminent artistes of the country. The first session called Keys had harmonium players Milind Kulkarni, Tanmay Deochakke along with an accordionist Aditya Oke, djembe artist Shikharnaad Qureshi and Santosh Mulekar on the synthesizer. The session was immensely enjoyed by the audience and they couldn’t wait for the next one to begin. The next was centered on melodic rhythm where sitarist Purbayan Chatterjee played some beautiful notes which were supported by Vijay Ghate himself, on the tabla. during the second session and received much appreciation from the audience. The last session, called the Finale Basuri-Vocal Jugalbandi, took everyone’s breath away when flutist Rakesh Chaurasia and singer Rahul Deshpande presented a jugalbandhi. It got even better when Vijay Ghate joined in on the tabla.
