“Five stories were presented. Each story mixed mythological tales with the current situation in today’s world,” says Shama, the choreographer. The five stories were a story on Raavan which portrayed split personality, a story on

Sati

which portrayed the troubles a young girl goes through, one on the emotions a man goes through when his idol of Lord Krishna comes to be worshipped and a fourth on casteism. The event came to a close with the story of Ahalya, on how she was turned into stone and could not live, die or experience any emotions.

The dancers – Dheerendra Tiwari, Souvik Chakraborty, Vishwadeep Sharma, Ameera Patankar, Avani Gadre and others – put up a show that left the audience spellbound. The music, which immersed the audience into the performances, was composed by Kedar Pandit.
