Pro Wrestling League Returns After Seven Years With New Identity and Renewed Vision for Indian Wrestling

The Pro Wrestling League (PWL), sanctioned by the Wrestling Federation of India, has unveiled a brand-new logo ahead of its much-anticipated fifth season, marking the league’s comeback after a seven-year hiatus. The fresh identity signals a new era for Indian wrestling — one defined by professionalism, transparency, and athlete-first values.

The new logo, a sleek and modern emblem inspired by the traditional red and blue wrestling mat, symbolises balance, strength, and the spirit of competition. More than just a visual overhaul, it represents a complete reset for the league — now under new ownership and management led by ONO Media partners Akhil Gupta and Dayaan Farooqui.

Under this new leadership, PWL has undergone a comprehensive structural and operational transformation, moving away from its previous model to create a sustainable, transparent ecosystem focused on the long-term growth of wrestling in India.

Working closely with the Wrestling Federation of India, the restructured PWL aims to bridge India’s grassroots akhadas with the global wrestling stage, providing structured opportunities and international exposure for athletes.
The league will make its official return in January 2026, featuring top Indian and international wrestlers. With its redesigned framework and renewed mission, the Pro Wrestling League is poised to usher in a bold new chapter for professional wrestling in India.
