Bangaloreans are having a great time at the Times Bangalore Festival.
For, God too loves a drink or two, like you, if the play When God Said Cheers featuring Tom Alter and Cyrus S as part of the Times Bangalore Festival is anything to go by.
The play, written by Anurag Kashyap of Black Friday and No Smoking fame, showcased the ���human��� side of God. Tom Alter as God was brilliant and Cyrus was flawless as, well, Cyrus ��� a mere mortal in search of his purpose in life. Tom actually downed a glass of beer while performing, but didn���t look tipsy at all.
Post the play, which incidentally provided a lot of food for thought, there was a food for sustenance laid out. A fabulous spread saw the city���s socialites catching up with each other over food and brushing shoulders with Tom, who was relishing his bowl of soup.
