People perform yoga to prevent themselves from coronavirus
A three-day

yoga

camp has been put up in the city as a preventive measure against coronavirus. Through these sessions, yoga gurus are instructing people to boost their immunity through various exercises. The camp will conclude on Wednesday.

Besides various yoga exercises, people are also informed about the herbs and spices which can help our

to fight against coronavirus.

Dr Nitesh

, a yoga guru, said, “People must perform kapalbhati, anulom-vilom and bhasika to improve their immune system. If these yoga asans are performed for 15 minutes everyday, it will have a great effect on the body. Besides, people must try to increase the intake of ginger, turmeric, pepper, basil leaves and heart- leaved tinospora (giloy).”

Sharing similar views, Chandan Kumar, another yoga instructor, said, “All the internal organs becomes active after performing kapalbhati for 10 minutes. Besides, anulom-vilom works like a magic for the respiratory system.”
