Patnaites rejoice after pre-monsoon shower
After months of scorching heat, Patnites warmly welcomed the dark clouds. Pre-monsoon showers on Wednesday brought some respite from the unbearable heat. The temperature dipped to 35 degrees from an all-time high of 44-degree Celsius.
The weather became so pleasant that it automatically charged up everyone. One could see youngsters enjoying on the streets. A few college students could be seen getting drenched. Sugandha Agrawal, said, “It was an unexpected shower. While going to the college, the sun was almost overhead. But post noon, we witnessed strong wind followed by heavy rains. Once our classes got over, my friends and I got drenched while going home. But we enjoyed it thoroughly.”
