Patnaites gear up to celebrate Diwali with special gifts
Come Diwali and people are all set to shop till they drop. Be it decorative materials for their homes, clothes or gift items for their friends, Patnaites like to splurge at this time of the year. PT has come up with a list of items, which we’re sure your friends and family will be excited to receive. Here we go...
There are ample options in silver — bowls, beautiful lights, dry fruit boxes, jewellery pieces and more. People can also purchase handmade diyas from local artistes. Sukriti Priya, a college student, said, “Artists of Bihar are preparing a variety of attractive artworks for Diwali. If we gift these decorative pieces and hand-made diyas, it will definitely make our friends happy. Gifting a Madhubani painting can also be an option.”
While you can buy dry fruit boxes from any grocery or fruit shop, you can pair it up with an attractive silver bowl available at almost every jewellery store. Pia Dubey, a boutique owner, said, “I buy gifts according to the taste and age group of my friends and relatives. This year, I have planned to buy a few silver bowls and plates for our special friends, and chocolates and dry fruit boxes for others.”
