Go on a trip
Visiting a tourist place with friends or family is always
exciting. And students love it. Even parents wait for their kids’ vacations, so that they can plan an outstation trip with them. Mayuri Shivam, a Class XII student of St Joseph’s Convent High School, said, “I love the mountains. Soon after my Class X board exams, I went to

Ladakh

with my parents. Long trips like that are only possible post exams, because that’s the time when we don’t have any academic pressure. This time, I am planning another trip to

Himachal Pradesh

with my family.”
Pursue your hobby
Those students who have been away from their hobbies due to their exams can now pursue it in their free time. Yusuf Sheraz, a student of Patna High School, is very excited for the coming academic break. He said, “I am fond of cooking and reading. I am waiting for the vacation as I will get enough time to experiment with some sumptuous food items. It is also a good time to read novels. I have also planned to pen down fictional pieces for my blog, which I could not do during my examinations.”

Join a fitness class
Some students wait for vacations as a health and fitness break. Usually, students stop going to the gym before exams. However, when the exams get over, they either hit the gym or join

yoga

classes to relax and unwind. Trisha Singh, a law student of

Patna University

, said, “I love performing yoga as it keeps me fit and relaxes my mind. Yoga also helps boost confidence. I will learn more asanas and techniques to keep myself energised on Holi. Besides, I also want to try meditation to increase my concentration.”
